privacy

This site keeps as little about you as it can. Here’s everything it does keep, where it goes and how long it stays.

talking to Ardo

When you ask Ardo something, your messages and its replies are kept for 90 days, so I can see what people ask and fix what it gets wrong. Each question is kept with the page you were reading when you asked it, and if you pass me a note, it shows me that page too. Questions other agents ask Ardo are kept the same way. Once a week, a Claude model from Anthropic reads recent questions to Ardo, with contact details removed, to write tests that check its answers. Each message passes through Jev, from TypeSafe, which checks it’s safe to answer, then through OpenRouter to Google, whose model writes the reply.

sending me a note

If you ask Ardo to pass me a note, your name, email, what it’s about and the conversation reach me by email and in Slack. The site’s own copy is deleted after 90 days.

past chats

Your past conversations stay in this browser, not on my server: up to 20, for 30 days. Removing one removes it from this browser only. A conversation you share keeps its own copy for 90 days, then it’s gone.

Ardo’s hints

Ardo says hello once a visit, then offers a question for the part of a page you’re reading. Your browser remembers that it has said hello, until you close the tab, and remembers if you press “hide”, so the hints stay off. Neither is sent anywhere.

counting visits

PostHog counts visits without cookies and without keeping anything in your browser. I use it to see where visits come from, which designs people stay for, and which pages lead people to send me a note.

cookies

There are two, and both only make the site work. One remembers your likes and locks on the daily design, for a year. The other keeps your conversation with Ardo together, for 30 days. Likes, locks and chats are also tied to a scrambled form of your network address, so nobody can stuff a vote or flood the agent.

your chats

Hi, I’m Ardo.

Ardo: Jordan’s agent. I’ve read his case studies, his career and everything he’s written here, so ask me what he’s built, how he works or whether he’d suit your role. I can pass him a note too.

Prefer your own assistant? It can read everything here and ask me too: mcp
